The body is a deep amber or medium brown with an extremely thin white head. The retention is minimal, but a ring of foam remains around the top of the beer throughout. The nose is very mild with only a slight sweetness detectable.
The mouthfeel is thin, despite the visible active carbonation. There’s a mild initial sweetness, but it turns bitter quickly. It seems to be originating from a mouthful of sour grains, unfortunately, not from careful hopping.
Final Verdict: C+
