Ayinger - Celebrator Doppelbock

Ayinger - Celebrator Doppelbock
Serving Type: 11.2 oz. bottle, poured into a fluted pilsner glass
This is a serious beer. Seriously good, and seriously deserving of its hype. It’s a cause for celebration, and the perfect way to celebrate is by drinking one, or two. Right off the bat the nose is full with dark fruits balanced by nutty undertones. To my surprise, the head began to deplete while I was taking the picture. What remained, however, stayed until I finished the last sip. The beer is full and tasty with notes of brown sugar or molasses in harmony with a mild spiciness. Highly drinkable and well worth tracking down.
